Choosing the correct bike rack

Match your tyre width and frame to the right rack in three steps.

What to know

Tyre width will determine the rack of choice.

The main difference between the rack types is the width of the cradle which holds the front tyre. We aim for a snug and secure fit but easy to roll the bike in and out.

How to choose

Tyres up to 2.1″: The Classic Rack will be the best fit.

Tyres 2.1″ – 2.8″: The MTB Rack will be the best fit.

Tyres 2.8″ – 5″: The Fat Rack will be the best fit.

Two additional considerations

Tight tolerance between down tube and front tyre

If this gap is less than 15mm, you will need a Fender Rack. (This has a slimline nylon lip instead of the metal one which slides in this gap and protects the frame)

Fenders/mudguards

If your bikes have fenders or mudguards, you will need the Fender Rack (for road bikes) or the Pro Flex Wide (for MTB/eMTB bikes).

Should you choose the incorrect rack and want to swap it, we will gladly do so, please keep the original packaging.
